The immediate past Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has described the death of Alhaji Aliyu Bakari, the Adamawa Central Vice Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) as shocking and painful.
The condolence message is contained in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Martins Dickson.
Bindow said late Bakari has been a friend of over 40 years even though he is his brother in-law.
“Late Aliyu Bakari is a dogged politician and a goal getter, a core party man and one of the youths that propel other youths to be relevant in politics, he has contributed so much in the political space in Adamawa state, he will be missed”.
Bindow consoled the Bakari family and prayed Allah to grant Aliyu Bakari Aljanna Firdausi. He also consoled Adamawa state APC, especially the state working committee.
Late Bakari died on Wednesday 2nd September at the National hospital Abuja after a brief illness.
