A former Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has commiserated with the entire Bachama Chiefdom, Numan federation, and the Adamawa State council of Chiefs over the demise of the Hama Bachama Homun Stephen Honest Irmiya, kpire mana kpafrato the second.

In a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Martins Dickson, Senator Bindow prayed God to grant the late Homun eternal rest and also grant his family as well as the entire Bachama kingdom the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“The Hama Bachama is a very close and personal friend who played the role of a father in my life. We shared very intimate and private moments together, I have lost a Dear friend, a confidant and a brother”

“Zaki as I always call him is a man with strength of character and a unifier in his chiefdom, a traditional ruler in the true sense of it” Bindow added.

An earlier statement by a member of the traditional council, Chief Timawus Mathias, who holds the title of Nzobyalato Hama Bachama, indicated that the first class chief died at the age of 66 in his palace in Numan after a brief illness.
