The Coronavirus which has affected 83,000 people in 53 countries and killed 2,800 people still has many things yet to be known about it, with researchers investigating more deeply.

While the dog has been quarantined for further investigation, pet owners may also have their dogs quarantined too.

The COVID-19 has been reported to have its roots in bats and pangolins according to research, but hasn’t been clear cut on how pets contract the virus.

Should the investigation by the Hong Kong government prove the dog was infected, the world may be open to a totally new turn of events and possibilities.
