A press statement from the Adamawa state Ministry of Education and human capital development signed by its Commissioner, S Ahmadu has ordered the emergency closure of all Public and Private schools in the state as a result of health situation in the country caused by coronavirus.
According to the statement the order became necessary and urgent base on the professional update on the health sector on transmission mode of convid-19.
“Health talks and personal hygiene should be intensified amongst students, and pupils. All schools must conduct their examinations and close on the 27th March, 2020. The above should be adhere to by all authorities please. ” The statement read
It is however good to know Adamawa state is yet to record any case on convid-19,and the proactive measures of quarantine centres taken by the government is commendable according to health experts in the State.
