The Verdict of the court of appeal delivered on Thursday, 24th November 2022 affirming Senator Aisha Dahiru Ahmed Modibbo (Binani) the substantive All Progress Congress, APC, gubernatorial candidate has turned Adamawa into wild jubilation on Saturday upon her visit from Abuja.
The victory has culminated in the winner of the Judgment, Binani to visit the state party office in Yola amidst cheering crowds where she enjoined all party members to bury their differences and unite for party’s sake.
Aisha Stormed Yola with unprecedented occult supporters welcomed her at the airport and brought her to the office, halting down vehicles free traffic on some of the major roads in Jimeta and Yola.
In her speech to the state party officials and local government party chairmen, elders, critical stakeholders, members of the party, candidates for the various elective positions as Senators, Members of the House of Representatives, and Members of the state Assembly she made a passionate appeal for them to unite in other to emerge victorious in the coming 2023 gubernatorial election.
“Despite the recent happenings within our party, I urge us all to bury our differences and forge ahead as a family to ensure the victory of all APC candidates from the presidential elections to that of the House of Assembly.
“We should understand the basis of our differences and resolve them most democratically and transparently as internal affairs of our party. With that, I believe we shall emerge stronger.” She said
While dedicating the appeal Court ruling as a victory for God to take the glory, she said it is a victory for democracy and all of them. And emphasized to them that her commitment to the party, the APC remained unshakable.
Binani further said that she has since extended a hand of fellowship to Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, her elder Brother, and her challenger in court to join her in ensuring APC emerges victorious in all elections in Adamawa, as she is willing and ready to work with all for the sake of the party.
Binani also while congratulating the party for the victory at the Appeal Court implored faithful members to remember that they must ensure all APC candidates win all elections due in the next few weeks.
