The Federal Lawmaker representing the People of Gombi/Hong Constituency,Hon Yusuf Yakubu Buba at the National Assembly has donated his entire monthly salary to fight the Pandemic coronavirus ravaging many Cities of the world.
Yusuf said the donation continue as long as the campaign against covid-19 pandemic last to help in curbing the spread of the disease in his Constituency.
He further said that the spirit in him to help fight the virus for the sake of his people in Gombi and Hong,he set up a coronavirus Trust fund to be managed by some trusted stakeholders in the Constituency
“In keeping with the spirit I ordered a set up a small committee headed by trusted allies to manage what I call the Yusuf captain Buba coronavirus Trust fund. ” Buba said
Buba however called his Constituents to be in a lookout of the covid-19 symptoms which involves sneezing, coughing, headache and to adopt basic hygienic principles of washing hands as Many times as possible in a day,
He said:”It’s advisable to wear face and mouth masks when we go out,cleaning every surfaces within our environments and avoid over crowded areas as the droplets from sneezing and coughing are the major career of the virus”
The Adamawa born Lawmaker in a video made available to our reporter also reiterated the need of social distancing and the stay at home call campaign by government should be strictly adhere to.
