The electioneering atmosphere is not without ritualistic scare every time it is election period, the most vulnerable group in Adamawa state, as the finding can reveal, is the Almajiri group lacking parental care, proper tutor guidance and protection and general security, feeding on the crumbs.
They are abandoned by the parents, oppressed and exploited by the hard-hearted cheating-teacher whom they are heinously under custody, playing the guardian and intimidated by the society outside the Tsangaya, as the almajiri school system is being referred to.
The teenage Almajiri was screaming, inviting for help and rescue at night. There was however no response from the community, thinking that it was the usual bullying by the senior, however heinous the cruelty, the Almajiri would have to be subjected to in the course of learning just how to recite Qur’an bereft of morality training.
The teenage Almajiri was actually crying his life out, screaming to attract the for community for help, praying to be rescued from being prey to the predator ritualists, as it would appear to be.
The Almajiri voice eventually fainted, apparently with the soul taken away from the form occasioned by the indescribably unbearable pains the suspected ritualist(s), rather than the seniority bullying, subjected him to.
Almajir’s abandoned lifeless body with missing parts was discovered in the morning. It was just the time the community found it deemed fit to respond to the posthumous call for help, by alerting the relevant security agency just to have the deceased evacuated.
Meanwhile,the Police Public Relations Officer, Adamawa state command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said the investigation has commenced in earnest, to track down the culprits.
