Adamawa Police Command has arrested a man who came all the way from Lagos to Yola on a visit to the family of Mr Emmanuel Stephen Tarfa, his old time friend.
The police Public Relations Officer, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Ngoroje said John Pwaddon was arrested for committing a culpable homicide by slaughtering David,a five years minor to death.
According to him Mr John will soon be arraigned to a Court in Yola for a murder case of a young lad under the pretence “to be hungry for blood.”
While narrating the ordeal,Tarfa,Father to the deceased revealed that he rendered help to John who came from Numan to stay for a day but extended his stay to two days,the second day while away for official engagement killed his Son.
He revealed that he met Pwaddon eight years ago only for him to resurfaced recently and treated him as an old time friend not knowing he has a heinous agenda to kill his Son.
The incident which occurred last Friday in the presence of David’s siblings who shouted for help when they saw their brother been slaughtered like a Ram.
Their cries drew the attention of people to rescue him but came late as a result he sustained serious injuries and later gave up at the hospital.
David was buried Tuesday morning in Yola according to Christian rites.
