Aides to Adamawa state Governor, Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow under the aegis of Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) forum,as a matter of urgency visited traditional ruler of Bachama,HRH Honest Steven in Numan LGA and Batta Chiefdom, HRH Batta, Homun Alhamdu Gladstone Teneke in Demsa LGA to sentisize their subjects to register for the ongoing Civil Voters registration (CVR) ahead 2019 general elections.
The visits which is basically on enlightenment and awareness campaign for the need of Adamawa people to seize the opportunity and obtain their voters cards most especially those that have never been registered, those that lost theirs or theirs got damaged.
The leader of the Forum Hon. Ezikiel Joseph while at the palace of Hamman Batta told the traditional council of the passionate desire of the Governor to see all eligible voters get their voter’s card even those within the ages of 16 and 17 to hasten up to all various centres in the state for their registration.
He called on the people of Demsa LGA to harness their God given resources such as river, dams to tackle poverty and unemployment.
”Calling you to make use of the ongoing registration exercise to get everybody that is due to register with the INEC and collect their voters card,asking them to Foster peace in all the various communities in the area in order to attract investigators.
”In the history of Adamawa state no Governor in two years has done what Bindow is doing most especially in the area of roads infrastructures, having a conscious efforts wanting to face the problems in education and health sector by placing a state of emergency in the duo ministries.” Ezekiel Said
The Chief of Batta louded Governor Bindow for working with the people that have the state at heart, he applauded the governor for turning himself a Leader of all, carrying everybody along in his activities especially the Royal Fathers and prayed for him to prosper in all his doing:”Bindow have proved himself to be God send to our people.”
“Numan Federation has nothing but to thank Governor Bindow for his love for the region, it’s being Long to see a governor working in this state like governor Bindow and are ready to pay the governor back in double in 2019.” He Said
The Secretary of Numan LGA,Comrade Benson Joshua led the group sites on construction which was awarded contract in the LGA by the state Governor, some of the area visited is the upgrading of the Numan General Hospital and the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Vilanova Government College.
