In furtherance of this the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Czech Republic, in collaboration with Anna Lindh Foundation, organised a conference in Prague and discussed Intercultural And Interfaith Dialogue; Building Trust Among Future Communities.

Speakers at this conference were drawn globally to Speak on three main Panels. Ambassador to Nigerian in Prague, H.E. Ambassador Kevin Peter was nominated by the OIC Czech Republic to speak on behalf of the Diplomatic community.

Kevin’s address was on: The progressive role that religion and interreligious dialogue can play in building trust among future generations.
Peter at the conference said trust is a necessary element for advancing Bilateral and Multilateral relationships including long distance trade and partnerships for social and environmental development.
In his opening remarks, the Hon Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, H.E. Jakub Kulhanek, welcomed everyone and specially thanked the Moderators and Speakers for accepting the responsibilities.
Few among other speakers include, Prof. Olivier Roy ( Scientific Advisor to the Middle East Directions Program, European University Institute) Prof. Tomas Halik, ( Charles University, Czech Republic) Imam Salahuddin Barakat (Founder of the Islam Academy Organisation) and others.
The Conference which was declared open by 9am ended and closed successfully at 4.45pm with a closing remarks from H.E. Mrs Ismat Jahan ( Permanent Observer of the OIC to EU).
