A renowned politician in Adamawa State, Barrister Danladi Danasabe has applauded the incumbent Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha saying that Mustapha is the finest ambassador that Adamawa State has produced in its checkered history.
Danasabe who appreciated the robust achievements recorded by the office of the secretary to the government of the federation, noted that posterity will be kind to the SGF who was thrown to the pinnacle of leadership at a time of national crisis yet he took the daunting challenges in his strides to the admiration of all and sundry.
“In the history of governance in our dear nation, Boss Mustapha has carved a niche for himself coming at a time during which the country was facing myriads of challenges.
“Apart from the security and economic challenges, the incursion of the COVID-19 with its debilitating consequences worsened our precarious situation as a nation.
” But yet the SGF being the chief coordinator of government bureaucracies, was not overwhelmed as he coordinated the right responses to all the challenges squarely as they come,” Danasabei said.
He noted that Mustapha was one of the finest SGF’s Nigeria has produced going by his personal comportment, educational attainment and his vast experience as a politician, lawyer and businessman making him to swim against the tide of challenges of his office with ease.
“Mustapha is one man that never cease to amaze me in the way he carried his onerous responsibilities. Perhaps that is the reason why the government is making robust progress in infrastructural development and other policies very dear to the government.
” It also entails the confidence which president Buhari has in the SGF because with very capable and trusted lieutenants like Mustapha, the president knows he can go to sleep.
“The way the SGF coordinated COVID-19 response which earned Nigeria the fourth place in the committee of nations is enough to tell you that with Mustapha in tow, Nigeria is on the path of excellence.
” The meticulous way in which the SGF also coordinated the ministerial retreat, tells you that he is a man who knows his mettle and he has made us very proud here in Adamawa.
“The list of the SGF accomplishments are just too numerous to mention in this little space. My prayer is that Nigerians should not hesitate to give him higher responsibilities in the future so that he can continue from where he stopped,” Danladi said.
Danladi added that despite the huge responsibilities, the SGF did not forget his home state as he brought about numerous developmental programmes such as building roads and hospitals in many communities and also brought various empowerment schemes for the people.
