Presenting him before President Muhammadu Buhari by the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman extraordinary committee, Mai Mala Buni over his defection from PDP to the ruling party, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha said he will redefine the party in Taraba State.
Mala who took Bwacha to Buhari Thursday said the ranking Senator will be decamping to APC with thousands of his supporters to include former Speakers, present and former serving lawmakers in the state.
Emmanuel said his decision to romance his ways to APC is because of the historic achievements of Buhari’s administration to the nation.
According to him what the Buhari-led government was able to do in Taraba state in the area of infrastructure is what informed his decision and the reason among many to change his political party.
He said the completion of Kashibila Dam and the ongoing construction of Jalingo to Sardauna LGA road, the construction of Mambila Hydropower electricity has made President Buhari earn good respect from his people.
Bwacha received praises from Buhari for being a strong member of PDP and left the party because he believed in APC and his administration.
Buni revealed that arrangement is on the ground for APC to stormed Jalingo for a Mega reception of his journey to the party to formally welcome him and his teeming supporters.
Emmanuel assured Buhari of bringing the glory of his administration to the people of Taraba, especially his constituents that are happy with the recent developments.
Our reporter however unraveled that Bwacha who is the Senator representing Taraba South in the National Assembly is having a sour relationship with Governor Ishaku Darius of the state.
The Governor and the Senator are having a political long battle where they are accusing Darius of gagging the party to himself and caging out Bwacha out of the happenings of the party despite being a critical national stakeholder of PDP.
A top PDP member who wants his name not to be mentioned in this report said he will not blame Bwacha for his decision.
“It’s not fair for a political great personality like Bwacha to denied him all-party right over the last congress. No single structure or person was given to bring in the party formation. The Governor is not carrying anybody alone, he pocketed the party into his private use in Taraba.
” As far as I know, PDP is now dead in Taraba if the likes of Bwacha have exited the party to another one. I didn’t see the magic or what is left In the party”. He said
