Former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur has showered encomiums on governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, saying that the developmental strides he is making in Adamawa State is second to none.
Tukur who expressed his support to the governor over the gigantic structures and projects he is putting in place urged other leaders to copy from him.
Fintiri on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the former governor of the defunct Gongola State to at his Abuja home to show solidarity to the elder-stateman.
“You should be so proud of yourself because you’re a true gift to the People and a model for the State,” the vividly happy elder-stateman told governor Fintiri.

Press Secretary to the governor Fintiri said, the former PDP national chairman expressed support for Governor Fintiri in his bid to put Adamawa on the map of developed States.
Bamanga noted that the Governor needs that support to do more in his Health, Education, Empowerment and Infrastructural intervention that has seen the state becoming a tourist hub.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who visited the elderstatesman to intimate him of developments back home and to draw from his wealth of knowledge, pointed out that the state has no excuse to be lagging behind.
“I have sworn to do good to all and will uphold my Oath,” he told Tukur.
Governor Fintiri assured that every Local Government will benefit from development projects and all projects embarked upon will be completed before the end of his tenure.
Governor Fintiri has enjoyed relatively high approval rating from visiting Governor’s to the State recently.
