Adamawa State Senator representing the Southern Senatorial District, Rev Binos Dauda Yaroe has raised an alarm calling the attention of the general public to be wary of fraudsters Impersonating him to defraud people.
Binos in a statement made the called by displaying phone numbers of the scammers posing around, calling prominent personalities impersonating Senators.
According to him, the fraudsters are using 08068625651, 08086228723 and 08104673386 purporting to be Sen. Binos Dauda Yaron.
He said: “These fraudsters engage their targets in conversations and end up making promises of gifts and other forms of assistance. In the end, the fraudsters request a sum, usually N50,000.00, to facilitate the delivery of the support.
” Be it known that I do not call individuals to make promises of assistance and/or gifts and I definitely will not ask somebody I want to help to send me money before I deliver the support. If you are in doubt, call me with my known numbers or get in touch with my Constituency Office in Numan. Do not allow yourself to be a victim of cheap scam!”
