The Award presented to Adamu

Darul Islamiya School in Yola honored a staff of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Adamu Mohammed with the Award of excellence for contributing towards uplifting the education of the less privileged.

The NNPC terminal Manager, Atlas cove in Lagos of the Nigeria pipeline and storage company received accolades for being a role model to many Youth both within and out of Adamawa state.

Mohammed who is an Alumni of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Malaysia, obtained a Ph.D. Chemical Engineering (Advanced materials), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, and bagged a Masters of Science (Msc) degree in Chemical Engineering, a degree from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, where he owned a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering with Second Class –Upper Division was said of him is a talented Man with many gifts help humanity.

Adamu was a household name many years ago in the prestigious General Murtala Ramat college in Yola where he set a good record haven being the best graduating student in 1995 with flying colors as the school’s head boy.

Mohamed Maintained the tempo of his academics prowess from Hammawa Primary School with Sterling performance in his new bit of assignments in NNPC.

The Darul Islamiya institute, its 2022 annual graduation ceremony gave special recognition to Adamu who as being a source and pillar of support to the less privileged by paying their school fees and settling of health bills of many people in Yola.

Presenting the Award, the district head of Yola, Ahmed Mohammed Mustapha who is the Chika Soro Adamawa sings the praises of Mohammed for giving himself to the service of God and humanity and praying for more wisdom, strength, and resilience to do more.

Adamu who was a former lecturer in the department of chemical engineering, MAUTECH, is known for his open-mindedness, honesty, and passion about helping and fighting the course of the downtrodden in the society has vowed to keep the spirit of helping the needy, especially in the area of Education for development, and ensure society’s peaceful coexistence.
