A lecturer with Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH),Yola,Associate Professor Chinyere N Alimba has bagged the Global Education Network (GEN) international Award of Excellency in Freetown,Sierra Leone.
Alimba who was presented the Award during the 8th Multi Discipline conference of the Association held at the Mary Kingsley Auditorium Freetown amidst accolades words of praise from fellows,world reknown professors from diverse disciplines.
GEN in collaboration with the university of Sierra Leone,Freetown,recognized the contribution of Alimba,a Nigerian Associate Prof with the department of peace and security studies of MAUTECH who has contributed to the development of education in Sub-Sahara Africa.
Chinyere was one of the resource person during the conference and delivered many academic papers on Peace and security studies revealed that the African continent is in dare need of peace in its diverse borders.
The GEN President,Prof Martins Fabunmi who signed the award letter said that the Nigerian university Don is one of the recognize Peace expert in Africa.
