Dr. Bakari Urges Unity, Teamwork for a Brighter Adamawa at Chief Barunde’s Grand Birthday Bash

Dr. Salihu Bakari Girei (known as SBG) has asked people in Adamawa State to stay united, support each other, and practice politics that includes everyone. He said only by working together can the state achieve lasting growth and prosperity.

He shared this message during a big birthday party for Chief Alexzanda Barunde, an important APC politician and leader in Girei Local Government Area.

The celebration brought together many top political figures from across the state, including Dr. Mustapha Salihu, the APC Deputy National Chairman for the North-East.

Dr. Girei called Dr. Mustapha Salihu a close friend and partner who shares the same goals for a strong and successful Adamawa. He is hopeful that the state will see more unity and progress soon.

He also praised Senator Abubakar Girei as a respected leader and mentor, like a father figure due to his age and experience. Dr. Girei said the APC in Adamawa wants to do politics differently—focusing on unity rather than personal gains.

He promised that the party will work as a team, so whoever becomes a candidate in the future will have everyone’s support. The main aim is to make Adamawa one of Nigeria’s most prosperous states.

Dr. Girei thanked Chief Barunde for his many years of service in politics, including as a councillor and local government secretary. He called him a true progressive who always promotes unity, and the huge crowd at the event showed how much people respect him.

He assured Chief Barunde of his own support and that of Dr. Mustapha Salihu. He added that the APC is open, fair, and welcoming to anyone who wants to join.

Finally, Dr. Girei highlighted Chief Barunde’s big role in building and growing the APC in Girei and across Adamawa State.
