An All Progressives Congress, APC, and a nationalist, Dr. Mahmood Halilu Ahmed (Modi), mni in the spirit of Eid-El Kabir have congratulated all Muslim Ummah for witnessing this year’s act of worship synonymous to sacrifice and obedience to Koranic injunction as commanded by Allah.
Modi, who is the Sarkin Gabas of Adamawa emirate while congratulating the entire people of Adamawa State, the Emirate Council under the paramount rulership of the Lamido of Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, called on them to have a renewed commitment to praying for the nation under the able leadership of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
Modi, who is also the Wakilin Yamman Pindiga and Magajin Garin Malabu asked Nigerians at this period to focus on the area of peace and prosperity of the nation as the only way Tinubu will have a smooth ride for nation building.
Modi in a statement said, “the there cannot be better times than now that every Nigerian should place his hands on the deck to change the course and the history of Nigeria. This requires a collaborative effort of all and sundry to overcome the many challenges seriously affecting the development of the nation.
“I hope that my Muslim Brothers and Sisters will celebrate the Sallah festivities in moderation and to extend the virtues of love that is entails in the act of the ibadat to all noon-Muslims like,” Modi said
He urged all Muslims to discard bitterness and embrace peace and love for one another for the sake of supporting the current leadership to thrive in development and the nation peaceful co-existence.
“What else do we need in this nation? God has blessed us with all good things of life to develop our dear nation, what has been a herculean task is the act of leadership to change the course of the nation.
