Dr. Ray: We must take over the task of governing Adamawa in 2023- APC newly elected sec calls

The Adamawa State Newly elected Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) party, Dr. Raymond Dauda Chidama has called on all party members to prepare and be ready to take over the task of governing the state in 2023.

Raymond made the call while delivering his acceptance speech haven won the office of the Secretary in the last weekend delegates Congress with a huge gap and called on all members to come together, unite as the task ahead is a serious one.

“We must come together to resolve pending issues amicably. We must also prepare to take over the task of governing Adamawa State in 2023 which we ignorantly relinquished because of lack of patience, tolerance, forgiveness, and perseverance delivered it into the hands of the opposition willingly.” Raymond said

While appreciating all those who played a vital role in making him the current Secretary of the party, he said is grateful to all APC members across the state for their support.

Raymond specifically thanked His Excellency Mai Mala Buni, Chairman CECPC, and his Committee members especially Prof Mamman Tahir for providing a level playing ground for all.

Dauda also extended his heart of gratefulness to other contestants for putting in a good fight, the Committee from Abuja, and Local organizing committee members for their patience and ensuring due process during the exercise. The efforts according to him are an APC collective victory.

“Our hearts of gratitude go out to all APC Elders/Critical stakeholders, seating and former APC Members of House of Assembly, former APC Local Govt Council Chairmen, former APC Commissioners and Advisers, All APC LGA Chairmen and Secretaries, other APC Stakeholders across State, LGA and Wards.

“Our thanks go to INEC officials, Securities, members of the press, and CSOs.We are grateful to all the statutory and state delegates for finding Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, me, and other newly elected APC Excos worthy to be entrusted with the party activities.” Dauda added
