Easter: Adamawa Ex-Gov Ngilari enjoins Christians to pray for Unity, Peace and progress of Nigeria

Nigeria has been described as a country in dire need of prayers that will foster unity, cause Peace to reign in all parts of the country, and developmental Progress in all sectors of the economy.

Rt Hon Bala James Ngilari, Adamawa’s former Governor has made the call to Christians in the country who are marking the 2023 Easter celebration.

According to him the power of Christianity is in the Easter period when Jesus proved to pay the supreme price of reuniting humanity back to God by dying on the Cross of Calvary for the whole world.

He said it is an expressway to answer prayers if committed Christians submit to the total will of God that the power and the love that Jesus has for humanity will never be in vain.

The Christian Elder statesman in a press statement stressed the need for Christians to live the exemplary life of Jesus who lived and died loving all people.

He recalled how Jesus was doing His earthly ministry, he was known to be doing good wherever he goes and said Christians should do likewise, follow the steps of Jesus.

The former Governor also enjoined Christian faithfuls to pray for a successful transition of power to the next President-Elect, Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

He is confident that their prayer during this Easter season will be a booster of good leadership under the Tinubu regime.

“It is only Love, Unity in our diversity will bring about progress in this country, without which we are deceiving ourselves that we are one,” Bala said

While wishing them a peaceful celebration, Bala harped on unity as a pivot of leadership that can support well the next regime and spur peaceful co-existence
