Easter Message: Jesus’ Sacrifice Heals the World, Koto Preaches Unity, Lauds Fintiri’s Security Efforts

In a heartfelt message marking Good Friday and Easter, the Council Chairman of Numan Local Government, Mr. Innocent Koto, has called on Christians in Numan, Adamawa State, and across the globe to embrace love and unity, reflecting the selfless example of Jesus Christ.

Speaking on the sidelines of the global Christian observance, Koto emphasized the importance of Jesus’ teachings, urging citizens to share with the less privileged and foster peaceful coexistence.

“Jesus Christ offered himself for the healing of the world. His death and resurrection remind us to love one another and live in harmony,” he said.

Koto extended warm congratulations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, Hamma Bachama, Dr. Daniel Isma’ila Shaga, and all stakeholders and Christians in Numan and Adamawa State for their commitment to unity during the sacred period.

Highlighting his administration’s achievements, Koto credited the relative peace in Numan to collaborative efforts with security forces and local vigilantes, aligning with Governor Fintiri’s robust security policies. “Residents can now sleep with both eyes closed, a stark contrast to the past when fear prevailed,” he noted, dedicating these successes to the Fintiri administration.

Koto reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining security and promoting policies that ensure the safety and well-being of Numan’s residents, in line with the state’s vision for a peaceful Adamawa.
