The Council Chairman of Numan, Mr. Innocent Koto has admonished Christians in Numan local government, Adamawa and the world at large to embrace love for one another, just as Jesus did to mankind.
Mr. Koto issued the statement on the sidelines of marking good Friday and Easter period by Christians Globally.

the Numan Council Chairman had while noting the biblical teachings of Jesus Christ, encouraged citizens to love one another and share what they have with the less privileged in the society.
He noted that Jesus Christ had offered himself to die for the healing of the world and not to be perish.
Hon. Koto especially encouraged Christians to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as a significant to peaceful coexistence and love.
The Chairman of Numan local government area also congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, his Deputy Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, the Hamma Bachama, Dr. Daniel Isma’ila Shaga and all the stakeholders and the entire Christians of Numan local government area and Adamawa State on the occasion of Good Friday and the Easter period.
He pledged commitment to do he could to provide security in line with the policy of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for securing the lives of the citizenry.
Mr. Innocent Koto used the Medium and informed that under his administration, Numan Council area recorded relative peace, through collaborative effort with the combined security forces and the vigilantes to keep residents sleep with their two eyes closed unlike in the past that they have to scamper for their safety, dedicated the achievements to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration in Adamawa State.
