The ALGON Chairman of Taraba State and Chairman of IBi local government area, Bala Bako has condemned the act of going round farms and destroying crops by unknown members of the society.
Bako, who spoke in Jalingo while reacting to the recent destruction of some farm crops in a community in Ibi local government area said the acts if not stopped can ignite crisis.
He warned perpetrators of such ungodly acts to decist or else if caught they will face the full wrath of the law.
The council Chairman called on traditional and religious institutions to call their adherence to order in the interest of peace.
Hon. Bala Bako however, reiterated his commitment to the peace of the area, saying that peace is non negotiable.
He therefore, explained that there is no better time that the area need peace than now as there are a lot of development activities that need peace to advance.
