Education Minister mourns deaths of two Adamawa APC chieftains

The minister of Education, ProfessorTahir Mamman has commiserated with the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Barr Idris Shuaibu and the APC family over the death of two party chieftains.

The two deceased party chieftains are the party chairman of Lamurde local government, Mal. Ibrahim Muhammad Zuru and his counterpart of Mubi North local government, Usman Sarkin Mudu.

The two party chieftains reportedly died on 30th March, 2024 and 9th April, 2024 respectively.

While expressing deep shock and sadness over the two incidents, the minister said the legacies left behind by the two party leaders will remain indelible in history because of their stout commitments to the deverment and well being of the party.

He noted that their death will leave a gaping cleavage that will be difficult to fill in the nearest foreseeable future.

Tahir noted that the two party leaders are tested and trusted leaders whose contributions to the growth and development of the party has been acknowledged by all and sundry.

“Although we are saddened by the death of the two party chieftains, we cannot question why God decided to take them at this material time when their wealth of experience, loyalty and dedication is needed the most.

“Despite our sadness, we take solace in the fact that the two party chieftains leave an exemplary lives worthy of emulation.

“They have variously showcased unprecedented leadership in their various enclaves making them to command respect, and cucult-likeollowership. I pray Allah to repose their souls eternally in his paradise while I urge the APC family and friends to carry the sad episode in their strides,” the minister added.
