The Kamwe Youth Connect Association (KYCA) has expressed deep concern over the recent removal of Prof. Tahir Mamman as Minister of Education, citing his exceptional leadership and expertise in the education sector. Prof. Mamman’s remarkable achievements within his first year in office, including eradicating fake degree certificates and reviewing the basic education curriculum, have earned him national recognition.

KYCA highlighted several concerns regarding Prof. Mamman’s removal, including disruption of education reforms, loss of expertise, and lack of representation. The association respectfully solicits President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reconsider this decision, considering the potential consequences for the education sector and the nation.
KYCA believes Prof. Mamman’s continuation would ensure stability and progress, as education plays a vital role in sustainable national security and economy.
The association calls on all Nigerians, particularly the youth, to join them in advocating for Prof. Mamman’s reinstatement, ensuring the education sector receives the attention and leadership it deserves
