Popular Nigerian musician, Eedris Abdulkareem has raised questions over the death of Vanguard missing journalist, Tordue Salem.
After his reported disappearance last month, October 13, the journalist was found dead in Abuja evening of Thursday, November 11.
Abdulkareem, while reacting to the sad incident, took to his Instagram page to question the cause of Salem’s death and state of insecurity in Nigeria.
His post read: “The Vanguard journalist he was declared missing in Abuja he was now found but found dead. what killed him or who killed him?
“What is his offence? He was proudly Nigerian @61, I’m not. He was a husband, his wife would see him no more and as a father his daughter will see him no more. What kind of country is this?”
Before his demise, the late journalist was covering the lower legislative chamber of the National Assembly until he was last seen on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
It was learnt that Salem left in a public cab for B.J’s garden situated close to Total filling station, opposite Force headquarters after the close of work.
From the garden, he reportedly flagged a cab for a female relative with him, who left before him.
He was said to have informed her that he was going to Area 8, Garki. But was never seen until his remains were recovered on Thursday.
