To mark the end of 2023 Ramadan Fast, the Governor of Adamawa state, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his way to Madagali, his home town had a stop over in Hong and observed the two Raka’at prayers with notable politicians of the areas.
The visit by Governor Fintiri elated so many sons and daughters of Hong who consider it an honour to pay them a surprise visit.
One of the PDP stakeholder who was a former lawmaker to have represented the people of Hong Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon Hassan Mamman Barguma thanked the Governor for the show of love today.
Barguma who was the immediate past Majority leader of the state Assembly observed two raka’at prayers alongside Governor Fintiri said God is the enabler of strength to have willed it for mankind to have witnessed this year’s Ramadan fasting period.
Barguma said in an interview that God has been to merciful for the people of Adamawa by given them Fintiri who is a workaholic Governor serving the entire state.
For this and many Barguma said all praises are being ascribed to God for His mercies in so many ways are too numerous to mention.
While appreciating Fintiri for the gesture of visiting and worship God together, Barguma used the Eid-el-Fitr celebration and also thank God and the people of Adamawa state for supporting the Governor in solidarity when their mandate was almost stolen by those he called enemy of the state.
He thanked Fintiri for being a courageous leader who refused to succumb to the pressure of inconclusive rascality.
Hassan appreciated the people of the state with a call for renewed prayers for the present Government to serve them better.
He said the forces against Ahmadu are still waging a war of hatred and scheming out other ways to scuttle him down from working for the state.
For this reason he said they should never relent in the area of prayers for him because he is facing both spiritual and physical battles, and it can only take God’s power to destroy their agenda.
“Fintiri is a good leader, he has worked and will still be working for the people of my dear state. I only want our people to keep on praying for him until he liberates the state from the crutches of underdevelopment.” Barguma said
