As Muslim Ummah around the world marked the 2022 Eid El Kabir, Adamawa’s illustrious Son, Dr. Abdullahi Dauda Belrl said their act of worship through the sacrifices they made should spur Unity, togetherness, and oneness among the people of the state and the country at large.
Belel said Adamawa and Nigeria need prayers and this season should be used in calling God to intervene in the multi-facet security challenges the country is facing.
The Adamawa-born politician reflected that the country is more divided along religious, tribal, and regional lines as against what our founding fathers intended it to be.
According to him, the ills can only be corrected by having good people in the affairs of the country’s leadership wheels.
Dauda worried that politicians who are not God-fearing are now the ones deciding the fate of the nation, he, therefore, called for the total replacement of the bad leadership style currently experienced in many parts of the country.
While congratulating the people of Adamawa state for witnessing the Eid-El Kabir synonymous with sacrifices, giving, and prayers, he said the prayers of the Muslim ummah should be geared toward a better 2023 general elections.
Dr. Belel a senatorial candidate for the Northern zone of the state under the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has on many occasions expressed optimism that his party is the liberator of Nigerians from all ills.
“I felicitate with Ummah Muslimin on this auspicious day, it’s only by the will of Allah that we have seen the day. I congratulate them and I pray that our sacrifices made be accepted.” Dauda
He stressed that nothing is more than peace, unity, and understanding of people with different religions. He wished today’s celebration Muslims will extend love, giving, and visits to fellow non-Muslims alike.
While also commiserating with the EYN Church and family of Reverend Daniel Umaru whose death occurred through a gruesome murder by men of the evil World.
Belel mourned the killing of Pastor Daniel and his two sons and condemned the abduction of his wife.
He called on all well meaning Nigerians to stand up against the killing of innocent citizens irrespective of who the person.
“My heart bleeds over the recent murder of Daniel, I condemned the act in all its entirety and I’m calling on our security agencies to smoke out the evil doers.” Dauda said
