Adamawa State All Progressive Congress, APC, stakeholder, Hamisu Idris Medugu has enjoined the Muslim faithful to maximize the opportunity of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration and pray for unity and peace in Nigeria.
He said the virtues of love predicated in the Month were God’s extension of love to humanity and used Prophet Abraham as the first example of Man’s Obedience to God.
Perturbed by the recent security uproar across the country, with many parts experiencing killings of diverse forms by unlawful agents of the country’s enemies, Hamisu a philanthropist and a human activist condemned the killings most especially of an EYN Reverend, Pst Daniel, and his two sons in Mubi, North of the state.
While congratulating the Muslim Ummah, Idris called for renewed prayers of unity that can ensure an enduring peaceful coexistence.
The APC stalwart reiterated a call for a peaceful Nigeria even as the country will soon begin plans for 2023 general elections.
