The Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN) and President Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Most Rev Musa Panti Filibus PhD has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah over the celebration of this year’s Eid. He sends good will message to the governor of Adamawa State Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the entire Muslim community.
Archbishop Musa has urged the Muslims to use lessons learned during the Ramadan to promote peace and Justice in Nigeria.
The message reads as follows:
On behalf of the General Church Council, the Council of Bishops and members of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), I wish the Governor HE Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the entire Muslim community in Adamawa and beyond, a happy Eid Celebration
As you all celebrate the end of this years’ Eid, I pray that the lessons learnt during Ramadan particularly as it relates to peace and justice for all that are desperately needed in our country may continue to guide you and yield much fruit for the Nigerian society as a whole.
