An aspirant, hopeful to represent the senatorial central zone of Adamawa state, Barr Aliyu Wakili Boya during an interview with news men in Yola emphasised the need of peaceful coexistence of people in divergence religions.
Boya stressed this in a Sallah message to mark the celebration of this year’s eid -del Kabir at his residence.
According to him God in his infinite wisdom created all Human being equal,in His permissive will He allowed many religion to exist in the planet earth,therefore people must learn to live in peace as they are one another’s keepers.
”It’s clearly enshrined in the holy Quaran that Islam is a religion of Peace, so I believe it’s in other religions, I’m urging our people to give Peace a breathing space in our Land so the government of the day can properly settle down for business, without Peace no government can work.” He stated
He use the occasion of Sallah celebration to sympathised with the people of Girei, Song,Fofure, Yola south and many parts of the state that flood displaced them,destroyed their Houses and farm lands.
He further prayed that God in His mercy never allow flood or water disaster to ravage people in their ancestral homes,praying that God will bring surplus harvest for this year’s rainy season.
