As Muslim faithful in Nigeria join millions the world over to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), Governor of Adamawa State, Sen Mohammed Umar Jibrilla, enjoins them to entrench in themselves the virtues of righeousness, prayer, charity, unconditional love and peaceful coexistence as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad(SAW).
In a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Macauley Hunohashi, the Governor noted that, “the period of Maulud calls for renewal of faith, spiritual upliftment, piety and show ofuncommon love for humanity”.
“I urge Muslims and Nigerians of other faiths to use this auspiciuos religious moment to love one another and renew strenght in our quest to build a more prosperous nation”, he stated.
Sen Jibrlla prayed Allah to grant President Muhammadu Buhari good health, clearer vision and wisdom to continue with the good works of repositioning Nigeria as a great country in the comity of nations and called on all Nigerians to ensure rancour- free campaigns.
