Ekiti Rally Turnout Signals Massive Support for Oyebanji, APC Targets 500,000 Votes — Uba Sani

Governor of Kaduna State and Chairman of the National Campaign Council for the Ekiti State Governorship Election, Uba Sani, has expressed optimism over the prospects of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti State, citing the massive turnout recorded at the party’s grand campaign rally.

In a statement issued after the rally, Governor Sani described the enthusiastic participation of residents and party supporters as a strong indication of public confidence in the leadership of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, and the ideals of the APC.

The rally was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, alongside governors, members of the National Campaign Council, party leaders, and other key stakeholders.

According to Sani, the overwhelming response from supporters has strengthened the party’s resolve to secure no fewer than 500,000 votes for Governor Oyebanji in the governorship election scheduled for this weekend.

He attributed the growing support for the incumbent governor to what he described as his administration’s achievements in key sectors, including the prompt payment of salaries and pensions, investments in education and healthcare, and policies aimed at improving the welfare of residents across the state.

“The vibrant participation of our supporters underscores the unwavering confidence the Ekiti populace has in the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the visionary ideals of our great party,” Sani stated.

The Kaduna governor also commended the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the administration’s reforms are creating a stronger foundation for sustainable development across the country.

According to him, the enthusiasm displayed by party supporters at the rally reflects increasing trust in APC leadership at both the national and state levels.

Sani expressed gratitude to the people of Ekiti State for their support and commitment to the state’s development, unity and progress.

He called on voters to sustain their backing for the APC and work towards ensuring a decisive victory for Governor Oyebanji at the polls.

The APC campaign council chairman maintained that the party remains confident of victory, insisting that the support demonstrated during the rally signals a positive outcome for the ruling party in the upcoming governorship election.
