ELECTION: SEN.BINTA, SEN CLIFF TO APPEAR BEFORE TRIBUNAL IN YOLA FOR HEARING

Former Senator Binta Masi Garba, who represented Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone and the incumbent Senator Elisha Ishaku Cliff, representing the zone at the National Assembly are expected to appear later today, at the National Assembly Election Tribunal holden in Yola, the Adamawa state capital for continuation of hearing in a case filed by Binta against Cliff.

It could be recalled that Sen. Binta, of APC filed a case at the ElectionTribunal challenging the victory of Sen Cliff, of the PDP, at the just concluded general election.

But the Election Tribunal has fixed Monday today for the Continuation of the hearing in the suit instituted by Binta against Cliff.

Also, the Tribunal has fixed today for hearing in a case filed by Ibrahim Mustapha(PDP) against Abdulrauf A. Modibbo(APC) for Girei, Yola North and Yola South Federal House of Representatives.

Likewise, the House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal is expected to adopt addresses by Adamu Mustapha (PDP) against Former Speaker State House of Assembly, Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa(APC) for Yola South constituency.
The adoption of address by Abubakar A. Jibirro(PDP) against incumbent member representing Girei constituency, Hon. Muhammed Mutawali(APC), is coming up later today at Assembly Election Tribunal.
