Elections Petition Tribunal strikes out motion to Withdraw APC Petition against Gov Fintiri of Adamawa

The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Adamawa state today struck out a motion seeking to withdraw the petition challenging the declaration of Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the executive Governor of the state.

The All Progressives Congress in an effort to continue with the case after striking out,APC being the petitioners presented two of its witness and tendered certified true copies of Polling units results, smart Card readers.

APC also tendered evidences of accreditation reports and voters registers for contested polling units in Numan and Guyuk LGAs before Justices S B Akanbi as exhibits.

The case was adjourned to continue tomorrow (Tuesday),16th July ,2019 with presentation of more witness by Petitioners.

The APC spokesman in Adamawa state Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed said the initial motion seeking to withdraw the petition by some disloyal members are nothing but fraction of some sell out members who were on their own to bring confusion in the party.

Recall that three members of APC in the state have tendered a motion to withdraw the petition on ground that they are the instituted case on behalf of the party.
