Engr Nimrod Splashes N1.9m on Educational Support for Volleyball Players

In a remarkable display of commitment to the development of young volleyball players, Engineer Musa Nimrod, Chairman of the Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), has provided educational support to 31 students. The beneficiaries include 13 WAEC students and 18 JAMB hopefuls, who received a total of N700,000 to support their educational pursuits.

According to a statement signed by Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, a member of the KADSVA Board, the Secretary of KADSVA, Adamu Mohammed, disclosed that a total of N1.9m was spent on the allowances, JAMB, and WAEC fees. Each of the 13 WAEC students received N40,000, while the 18 JAMB candidates received N10,000 each.

The beneficiaries of the WAEC support include Rabi’atu Adamu, Daniel Nwobodo, Winnifred Duru, Isaac Michael, Deborah Yakubu, Rhoda Danjuma, and Rejoice Samuel, among others. The JAMB candidates who benefited from the support include Joy Lawrence, Ibrahim Albir, Dominion Amos, Chinaza Otti, and Bathsheba Joshua, among others.

This gesture demonstrates Nimrod’s commitment to the holistic development of young volleyball players, both on and off the field.

As the President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Secretary General of Zone 3 (CAVB), and President of African Beach Volleyball, Nimrod’s initiative is a testament to his dedication to the growth and development of volleyball in Nigeria.
