Evans, Kidnapper Kingpin, Now a Born-Again Christian, Seeks Pardon from Prison

In a shocking turn of events, Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, notoriously known as Evans, has claimed to have turned over a new leaf and is seeking a plea bargain in his ongoing case. According to his lawyer, Emefo Etudo, Evans has had a change of heart, attributing his transformation to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Evans, who was once known as the “kidnap kingpin,” has been facing serious charges, including murder, attempted murder, and conspiracy to kidnap. However, despite pleading not guilty to the amended five-count charge, he has applied for clemency from the Lagos State Government and has submitted a plea bargain request through the Attorney-General’s office.

Etudo revealed that Evans’ transformation was made possible by the RCCG and government support, which has helped him to reform and become remorseful for his past actions. The lawyer told the court that Evans is currently a 200-level student at the National Open University, pursuing a degree thanks to a government scholarship. He also excelled in his NECO exams while in prison, demonstrating his commitment to education and personal growth.
