Every ethnic nationalities is shortchanged in Adamawa,Fulani inclusive

In every nook and cranny of Adamawa if you look closely and attentively, you will see hundreds of thousands of oppressed Fulani, Kilba, Bwatiye, Kamwe, Chamba and Verre ethnic nationalities whom were shortchanged by very few oligarchs and feudal lords amongst them.

These oppressed, shortchanged and disadvantaged set of people were even denied social amenities that they were even taxed for by men at the helm of their affairs.

Besides, If you go to the residence of a rich Kilba man and political leader, you will meet him with his rich Fulani friend discussing how to transfer the ownership of one estate in Dubai or Asokoro, or discussing whom amongst their rich friends will be suitable for the next Senator or Governor in the next election, they whine, wine and dine together. They even exchange smaller girlfriends amongst themselves. They often unite whenever our commonwealth is at their disposals and shared the loot amongst themselves.

The question is this, what does an average poor Fulani man in the street of Damare, Pariya, Wuro Bokki, Zumo and elsewhere benefited from a rich Fulani man that was born and brought up in those communities? Hong local government has been a home of hundreds of top brass military personnel, captains of industries and scholars of various disciplines but go to Hong local government and you will mistook it for a glorified hamlet. No pipe borne water, no access road and no single cottage industry. Now tell me, what does an average poor Kilba man benefitted from his rich kinsmen in the elitist political class ? None. Yola with all the combination of high and mighty, they are just celebrating tarred road and streetlights after being a state capital for 40 years, what does a poor Fulani or Verre man in Mbamoi, Njoboli or Njoboliyo benefitted from his opportuned political elites? Virtually none but oppression

However, there are exceptional sons of Adamawa that faired well in terms of sociopolitical developments of Adamawa such as Professor Jibrin Aminu, Dahiru Bobbo, Aliyu Idi Hong and late Abubakar Kari for influencing some developmental projects for the good of Adamawa when they were given opportunity. These they achieved not because they were Fulani, Kilba or Higi but because they had ADAMAWA in heart. Therefore, no matter how high is the tone of your voice or expertise in pen, the good people of Adamawa knows what is good for them, they know who and who oppressed them, they know who and who stolen from them, they know how your house looks like before they gave you an opportunity to serve them and know the lavish lifestyle you maintain after entrusting you, they know that the same Fulani, Kilba, Luguda and Higgi political elites ignored them in Viniklang, Yolde Pate or Nasarawo and moved up to Dougirei or Commissioners Quarters and built mansions that nobody but dogs or buzaye lives in, the shortchanged people of Adamawa knows that Chamba, Margi, Kilba or Fulani political elites no longer check in to Specialists Hospital or Hong Cottage Hospitals but Egypt, India or London and they know that leadership is not about the religion you profess or your tongue but the will and zeal to take them from point A to point B as Governor Bindow Umar Jibrilla has just done.

Finally, 2019 will never be about your ethnic or religious affiliation but about “I have done this in the past and I will do that if given another opportunity, and not I will do this if you vote for me without telling the people your past records in private or public service” but if you think your religion or ethnicity will give you an automatic ticket for Dougirei Government House, you will be on for a shocker!
