In a remarkable display of philanthropy, two prominent figures from Mubi, Alhaji Sali Bello, former Head of the Federal Civil Service, and His Excellency Senator Muhammad Bindo Jibrilla, former Governor of Adamawa State, have extended significant infrastructural support to the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi.

The duo’s contributions, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on February 21, 2025, are set to bolster the university’s operations for the next three years.
Alhaji Sali Bello has donated his well-known event centre along Maiha Road to the university, granting free usage for a period of three years. Similarly, Senator Muhammad Bindo Jibrilla has offered one of his residences in Mubi to the institution, also free of charge for the same duration.

These timely donations are poised to alleviate infrastructural challenges faced by the university, enhancing its capacity to serve students, staff, and the broader academic community.
The MoU signing ceremony marked a significant milestone in the university’s development, with the Management expressing profound gratitude to the benefactors. Representing the University Council and staff, the institution’s leadership hailed the gesture as a testament to the stakeholders’ commitment to educational advancement in Adamawa State.
