It was a crowd of unprecedented number of supporters thronged Mubi, the commercial center of Adamawa state as the immediate past Governor of the state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow joined Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in his re-election campaign.

The Mammoth began movement from the Marraban Mubi has obstructed the free flow of traffic along major road and streets in the town for about five hours amidst cheers and applause by the supporters.
Bindow who has decamped to PDP from APC has being vigorously campaigning for the ruling party in the state as the best answer to the people of Adamawa state.
According to Bindow Adamawa is experiencing development from his regime down to Fintiri’s administration an opportunity the people should not toy away with.
In his remarks at the rally, Governor Umaru Fintiri said he and his predecessor have recovered Mubi and made it a commercial hub of the state, promising to continue to revive the economy of the area for the better.
He told the people that if re-elected his administration will pursue eight point agenda by commiting more efforts in the areas of security, education, health, and infrastructure that the citizens will be proud of.
Speaking on the state of the nation, Governor Fintiri noted with concern on the plights of the citizens which he said was due to ineffective governance by the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government.
He expressed the conviction that electing Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as next Nigeria’s President will no doubt address the present predicaments the people are passing through and restore the lost glory of the country.
The Executive Chairman Mubi North Local Government Area Council, Suleiman Yahaya Sudi said the people of the area have enough reasons to re-elect Governor Umaru Fintiri because of his giant strides for the community.
The State Chairman of PDP, Barrister Tahir Shehu saluted the people of Mubi, for turning out en masse to receive the party’s Campaign train and urged them to maintain the posture by massively voting for the party in all elections.
Meanwhile, Governor Umaru Fintiri has restated the commitment of his administration to bring more development to the people of Vimtim and environs in Mubi North Local Government Area.
The Governor who stated this during a campaign rally in Vimtim stressed that the government under his watch has constructed road to Muchala and brought electricity to Bahuli and Betso among other areas.
He pledged to continue to execute people’s oriented projects in the local government area by according more priority to security, education and other sectors for the development of the citizenry.
Deputy State Chairman of PDP, Stephen Doma and other speakers lauded Governor Fintiri for giving their communities dividends of democracy and vowed to reciprocate the efforts with massive votes in the forthcoming elections.
