The immediate past member representing Sanga constituency in the kaduna state House of Assembly,Hon Mrs Comfort Amwe has taken time out of her busy schedules to visit victims of the recent gun attack in Ambe a village in Arak chiefdom of Sanga local government area to identify and commiserate with them over the heinous and barbaric incident that claimed the lives of six people.
Mrs Comfort Amwe who represented Sanga state constituency in the kaduna state House of Assembly between 2019 to 2023 and a one term chairman of Sanga local government council had during the visit to the affected victims full of empathy,piety and compassion while also urging members of the community and indeed people of Sanga local government to eschew bitterness, hatred and violence in the interest of peace and national development.
During her august visit, the former Local government Council Chairman, Commissioner for Women Affairs in kaduna state, PDP women leader and later member of the state assembly, admonished the people of Ambe,Arak chiefdom and indeed Sanga local government area to continue to live in peace with one another and be their brother keepers for societal development.
Hon comfort Amwe who lamented over the gory incident prayed for God to put an end to the incessant attacks and killings in southern kaduna and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon Comfort Amwe had during her stay Sanga paid a similar visit to the families of eight victims of the recent ghastly motor accident which claimed the lives of four family members living four others wounded at Ungwar- Nungu in Bokana ward of Sanga local government area.
In the meantime, Hon Comfort Amwe by this charismatic and demonstrable qualities of a leader is the first elected representative from Sanga local government area who had lost reelection but never abandoned her constituents, hence her decision to visit victims of circumstances.
She is widely loved by all for her genuine spirit of love, humility,piety and comfort as her name connort while in position of authority and outside same.
Hon Comfort Amwe is fondly called “mama Sanga” and her legacies are everlasting and can never be wished away by even the enemies within and from afar.
