Ex-President Obasanjo commissions Mega projects, Commends Fintiri for transforming Adamawa State

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo,(GCFR) has commissioned the just completed grade interchange flyover and underpass at the former Police roundabout, Jimeta, Yola North Adamawa State

Obasanjo described the project as an extraordinary bridge that will serve as the Adamawa Unity Center for the fact that it consists of an underpass Linking Galadima Amino Way to Justice Buba Ardu Road, a roundabout that distributes traffic to five roads and a Flyover that connects Atiku Abubakar way.

He expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the honor to commission what he said was a mega project since the creation of Adamawa State.

” My stay here in Yola for over Three years made a great impact in my life and I must say that the fact that I was at Yola for those years made my performance as an elected president of Nigeria better than it could have been,” Obasanjo said

He commended the Governor and urged him to continue with the good work he has started regardless of what the opposition may say.

He went further to commend the efforts of the commissioner for works and energy development, Alhaji Adamu Atiku Abubakar.

The former President emphasized the need to extend his vision of urban renewal and development to rural communities, which will tackle the issues of insecurities in rural areas to enable rural dwellers to return to their normal lives of food production.

Fintiri in his speech told the people of Adamawa his passion to transform the state.

He expressed gratitude to God over the success of the construction of the flyover and underpass and adjudged that the state is now one of the fastest-developed States in terms of project delivery.

The Managing Director of Triacta Nigeria Limited, Mr. Elia in his response appreciated the Governor for entrusting the company with the project and promised that they will continue to contribute their quota to the development of Adamawa state and Nigeria at large just as they have been doing for the past three decades.
