Former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Ahmed Makarfi, former Governor of Kaduna State, following the tragic loss of his son, Dr. Faisal Ahmed Makarfi, in a car accident. Atiku Abubakar, who has experienced the joys and challenges of raising 28 children with his four wives, understands the depth of pain that comes with losing a loved one, especially when the natural order is reversed.

In a statement, Atiku Abubakar said, “The natural order is for children to bury their parents. So, it is with profound pain and sadness that I received the news of the passing of Dr. Faisal Ahmed Makarfi… My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Makarfi in these trying times.” He also extended his deepest condolences to the family on behalf of his own family.
