EXPEL BABACHIR LAWAL FROM APC NOW – DUHU

The Pioneer National Vice Chairman North-East of the APC bears his mind on the need to expel the Removed SGF Babachir Lawal from the APC and several other issues.

The erstwhile SGF who was removed from office over the gross allegation of grass cutting compliancy Babachir David Lawal must be expel forthwith from the APC by the Adamawa State Chapter of the APC, if the Party wishes to be seen as one maintaining discipline, decorum and the rule of law, not only the ruling party but, one party which must show leadership for other parties to emulate. Mr. Lawal has indeed, committed several infractions against the party inline with Article 24A (i – ix). He has singularly engaged in casting aspersions against the constituted organ of the APC which were in flagrant disregard of the APC Construction and has demean the exalted Office of the Executive Governor of Adamawa State under the APC Government. Mr. Lawal has never hidden his stupidity of saying; “I will only vote for President Muhammadu Buhari at the 2019 polls in Adamawa State but, I will never vote for Governor Mohammed Umaru Jibrilla (Bindow) when he becomes the 2019 APC Candidate”.

Mr. Babachir’s utterances were greatly in flagrant abuse of Article 24A (i – ix) of the APC Constitution and shall be dealt with and punished inline Article 24D (e, f, h & i) of the APC Constitution (October 2015 As Amended).

Mr. Babachir did not only stop at making comments that were inimical to the APC, but further engaged in Flagitious activities which is merely Quisquilian, made by a Quidnunc fellow. His actions were not only condemnable for accusing Governor Bindow of fabricated lies for corruption, and forgetting that, it was he (BD Lawal) that was relieved of his appointment for corruption charges. He was found guilty by an Administrative Pannel headed by no other person than the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo SAN. In this regard therefore, where is Governor Bindow found wanting and which panel or graft agency has indicted him or his Government? It is high time therefore, the graft agency, the EFCC must as a matter of necessity prosecute and secure a conviction of Babachir Lawal. Mr. Lawal has no doubt used his office while he held swear as the SGF to corruptly enriched himself. I also offer myself to volunteer very useful informations that shall assist the EFCC prosecute, secure convictions and even confiscate the ill gotten wealthy stashed from the common pull by Mr. Lawal.

Let me also use this medium to clear some falsehood impression created by Mr. Lawal and equally put the records straight. At no time was Mr. Lawal responsible for the formation of any of the former Adamawa State APC democratically elected Ward, Local Government and the State Executive Committee Members. It was I Umar Duhu, when I held swear as the Pioneer National Vice Chairman, North East of the APC that I constituted the former Sen. Binta Masi led Executive Committee. Mr. Lawal was never near the venue nor has he ever participated in the processes that brought in the Executive Committee in 2014.

It is also evident that, Mr. Lawal has never contested any election and won nor has he ever won his polling unit to the ruling APC? Mr. Lawal was only allotted 6 votes for President Buhari and got no votes for Governor Bindow in his Kwambula Ward unit. But, Magnanimous President Buhari still went ahead and appointed him as the SGF. With the foregoing therefore, there’s no basis for a comparison between Mr. Lawal and Governor Bindow. Governor Bindow has won elections several times as Senator of Adamawa North Senatorial Zone and as Governor of Adamawa State without an input from Mr. Lawal and his likes. I also defeated Mr. Lawal squarely to win the position of the National Vice Chairman North East at the June 14, 2014 APC National Convention. But, I conceded my victory for some permutations and respect for My Leaders and the APC which I am number 6 on the list of those that signed to register the APC at the INEC HQ,

In Mr. Lawal has also in his usual deceptive manner, tried to cause mischief by misleading the peace loving peoples of Adamawa State through making hateful campaigns. Mr. Lawal tried to paint a scenario that, the Adamawa State APC State Executive Committee is lopsided in favour of Muslims. But, for the records, the State Executive of the APC in Adamawa State is fairly balanced with about 15 each and spread across the religious line in the State. The APC State Deputy Chairman, State Secretary, State Vice Chairman – North, State Legal Adviser, State Auditor, State Welfare Secretary and several others non Working Committee Members are all Christians. It instructive to reiterate that, it is Mr. Lawal that nominated Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal as the Adamawa State APC Chairman after knowing fully that, Bilal is from the same zone with the Adamawa State Governor? But, now that the table has been turned against the mastermind, Mr. Lawal is treading some shameless blames.
