Gratitude resonates throughout the farming communities of Adamawa State as farmers, youth, and women express their appreciation for the impactful agricultural and empowerment initiatives led by Chief Maurice Vunobolki, the Northeast Coordinator of Multisectoral Crisis Recovery Project (MCRP) Adamawa State Project Coordination Unit,
As part of the day’s activities, Dr. Vunobolki donated 30 tricycles, cash, and other items to the Adamawa State Chapter of the National Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities. He urged persons with disabilities to support the Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri-led administration in its efforts to continue delivering the benefits of democracy to the people of Adamawa State.
Comrade Abdullahi Toungo, Founder/Director of Vunobolki Care Initiative (VCI) and Chairman of the Adamawa State Physically Challenged, expressed gratitude to Dr. Vunobolki for his generous contribution. He assured that the items would be put to good use.
Comrade Toungo also highlighted that Vunobolki Care Initiative has been actively supporting the state through distributing instructional materials to schools, medical supplies, food and non food items, and other forms of assistance to beneficiaries across State.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of an Award of Excellence to Dr. Maurice Vunobolki by the National Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities, in recognition of his extensive contributions to humanity.
In a significant boost to local agriculture, Chief Vunobolki has provided essential tools and resources to farmers, including solar-powered water pumps, high-quality seeds, and fertilizers. These initiatives are part of an overarching commitment to align with the Federal Government’s Food Security agenda, ensuring that farmers are equipped for a successful dry season rice harvest.
Local farmers Geoffrey Yakubu, Benedict Minakaro, Isa Usman, and Bello Garba, hailing from Lamurde, Girei, and Yola South Local Government Areas, shared their enthusiasm with our correspondent.

They praised Chief Vunobolki’s timely interventions, which they believe will significantly improve food availability and bolster the local economy.
“The support we have received has given us new hope,” said Yakubu. “With the solar-powered water pumps and quality seeds, we are confident of a bumper harvest this season.”
Beyond agricultural support, Chief Vunobolki has also been lauded for his monthly allowance program benefiting thousands of youth across the state. This initiative aims to alleviate unemployment and empower young people to contribute positively to their communities.
Under Chief Vunobolki’s leadership, the MSCRI has successfully distributed agricultural implements through cooperative societies, ensuring that the assistance reaches those who need it most. Additionally, empowerment forms targeting unemployed women and youth have been distributed, paving the way for the disbursement of monthly stipends, which has already commenced.
