The Federal Government has approved N470 billion for university revitalisation as well as N170 billon for an upward of varsity teacher salaries.
It was learnt that the approval of the special fund and others have been provided for in the 2023 budget.
Out of the N470 billion, N300 billion has been set aside for varsity revitalisation, while N170 billion is for the upward review of the university lecturers’ salaries, the Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, stated this.
