FG Constructs School in Adamawa Community, Boosts Educational System

...Forty-Eight New Classrooms Commissioned in Kofare

In a bid to strengthen educational system in Nigeria, the Federal Government has built four blocks of twelve classrooms in Kofare A, Yola North local government area of Adamawa State

The gesture was facilitated by the Sustainable Development Goal SDG, Federal government with the aimed in supporting students to have a conducive learning environment that will make them become better in the society

The Adamawa State governor Ahmadu Fintiri who was represented by Special Adviser to the governor on Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board Justina Nkom described the project as timely, as it will help pupils to have a solid background that will prepare them to face any challenges ahead

The governor described education key, says without education there will be no security in the country, hence the need for all stakeholders to rally round education

According to the governor, the Adamawa state government is doing everything possible to upgrade educational system at all cost, so far, the government is building more schools across the twenty local government area that will give children at the grassroots opportunity to be educated

The Chairman of Yola North local government represented by the Vice chairman Serah Samuel appealed to well to do individual to support educational system in Adamawa as that is the only way to have a peaceful environment where development is guaranteed

Serah Samuel disclosed that the state government under Ahmadu Fintiri has done so much for education in all the twenty one local government area of the state, while assuring the stakeholders of Kafare A of Yola North support in assisting to renovate the dilapidated school structures where education will be standard in its local government

On the part of the Chairman Kofare A Abdullahi Mohammed thanked Sustainable Development Goal under Federal government for the finding the community worthy in building four blocks of twenlve classrooms while assuring the FG of doing everything humanly possible to maintain the school to its standard

He however appreciates governor Ahmadu Fintiri for transforming the educational system in the state, while appealing to the governor to help the community with access road that will boast daily activities in the domain

The community Chairman however appealed to parents to always encourage and support their children to be in school. He added that, when the society is educated. insecurity will not be an issue in the country

During the event, presentation of awards to those that contributed immensely towards the support of education in Adamawa State
