The Federal Ministry of Education has created six additional Federal Science and Technical Colleges (FSTCs) nationwide.
This is contained in an internal memorandum released and signed by the Acting Director, Examination Administration, National Examinations Council (NECO), Michael O. Olapade to notify all state officers of the examination board.
The new FSTCs which cut across the geopolitical zones are:
1. Federal Science and Technical College, Igangan Oyo State.
2. Federal Science and Technical College, Ogugu, Kogi State.
3. Federal Science and Technical College, Mallam Madori-Birniwa,Jigawa State.
4. Federal Science and Technical College, Oguta, Imo State.
5. Federal Science and Technical College, Ganduje, Kano State.
6. Federal Science and Technical College, Amuzu, Ebonyi State.
According Olapade, all these six newly created FSTCs are mixed (boys and girls).
