The Federal Government has declared Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Adha celebrations. Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the declaration, congratulating Muslim Ummah at home and abroad.
He assured Nigerians that the government’s reforms aim to restore progress
Tunji-Ojo urged Muslims to embody the spirit of sacrifice and faith exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, and to pray for Nigeria’s peace and prosperity. He assured Nigerians that the government’s reforms aim to restore progress.
The Minister called on all Nigerians to join hands with the administration in its efforts to restore Nigeria’s glory as a great nation, wishing Muslims a happy Eid-ul-Adha celebration.
