The President Bola Tinubu administration is set to sell off some of the country’s assets to generate N298.4 billion in revenue in 2024.
This disclosure was contained in a breakdown document of the 2024 appropriation bill currently before the National Assembly.
Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Solomon Adeola, released the items listed as “financing items.”
The government would embark on this move in an attempt to finance public debts as well as reduce the fiscal burden on the part of FG.
President Tinubu had submitted the sum N27.5 trillion 2024 budget to the National Assembly.
